Finding the right services can be confusing and time consuming, especially for family members who live out of the area. Let us be of help to you or family members and avoid hours of frustration while searching for information and making endless phone calls. Our friendly staff will take the time to listen to your needs, provide information, referrals, and problem solving support.
Chore & Homemaker Services
These limited services provide a safety-net for frail older adults who may not be able to safely maintain the living environment. This program is designed to keep individuals living independently in their homes as long as possible, we cover 100 square feet around the perimeter of your home. Services can include lawn mowing, weed eating, raking and blowing, clean out rain gutters, dump runs, change light bulbs, change batteries in smoke detectors, and hedge trimming. *Service only available to Amador residents at the time.
The program does not involve structural changes or major repairs in a dwelling. The program is designed as maintenance necessary for accessibility and safety, such as repairs to ramps, grab bars, handrails, locks, and electrical wiring. Eligible clients are those whose health and/or safety or independence are jeopardized because of deficiencies in their place of residence. *Services only available to Amador residents at this time.
